Atmosphere System

Archemy introduces a dynamic environment that reacts to the player's location and state. This system creates a visceral experience through several "Engines":

  • Darkness Engine: Advanced lighting mechanics that affect visibility and safety in the shadows.
  • Oxygen Engine: Manages air supply in specific high-altitude or subterranean environments.
  • Sound Engine: Procedural ambient sounds and auditory hallucinations.

World Generation

Features a custom noise-based terrain generator with unique structures:

  • Abandoned Boats: Procedural coastal wrecks with high-tier loot.
  • Far Lands: Mathematical terrain distortions beyond 10,000 blocks.
  • Fake Heads: Eerie decorative placements to throw off explorers.

Disaster Management

Natural events that occur randomly or during specific world states:

  • Blood Moons: Global difficulty spikes and increased mob aggression.
  • Meteor Strikes: Destructive projectiles from the sky leaving rare ores.
  • Lightning Storms: Targeted, lethal lightning events.

Mob AI & Gangs

Archemy overhauls mob behavior, introducing the "Gang" system. Mobs can form squads, call for reinforcements, and use advanced tactics like flanking. Specific gangs include the FarLands Gangs and Nether Squads.
